My name is Charmaine and I am a female home carer with years of experience in providing support and assistance to individuals in need. I have extensive expertise in caring for clients with a variety of conditions, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, learning disabilities, complex needs, Bedbound, Parkinson's Disease, Anxiety, and Depression. My care types range from hourly visits to overnight stays, ensuring that my clients receive the continuous care and attention they require.
Although I cannot drive and do not possess a car, this hasn't hindered my ability to provide exceptional care. I am skilled in various caregiving tasks such as bathing, toileting, assisting with dressing, catheter care, and offering companionship. These skills, combined with my caring and friendly nature, enable me to form strong bonds with my clients and provide them with the comfort and support they need.
Outside of work, I have a range of hobbies that keep me engaged and energized. I enjoy painting, which allows me to express my creativity, as well as walking or dancing to stay physically active. I also find joy in cooking and baking, as well as socializing with friends. Additionally, I am open to working with clients who have pets as I have a soft spot for cats, dogs, fish, and rabbits.
My motivation for being a carer stems from my deep desire to assist individuals in leading independent lives, regardless of their physical or mental limitations. It brings me immense joy and satisfaction to make a positive difference in the lives of others, helping them to maintain their dignity and overall well-being.
